Vancouver

I'm on one of Vancouver's bridges with the lions on either side, common you know what its called don't ya? Well I'm heading home. It's such a beautiful day, I wish this picture could show how beautiful it really is. A man walked by me today with flowers. I though oh how sweet, maybe for his wife/girlfriend, or maybe for his momma to show her how much he appreciates her. No matter the reason, I hope it was for a good reason.

That reminds me. Yesterday I Aww a young boy about 5 with his mother. The boy was dressed like any boy should be in the morning, clean clothes that were in good condition. The mother dressed as if she had a big important meeting, classy business wear. The boy hopped off the transit bus, and ran around the corner to the skytrain. The mother quickly grabbed her newspaper from the Chinese man handing them out as fast as he could to the on coming traffic of busy people piling out of the skytrain. The mother then dashed after the boy.
It's interesting, I thought to myself how different city life is from town life, yet its practically the same! The boy knew exactly where he was going. Like he has been doing it everyday. Which makes sense, he probably did do this every day. The mom seemed so calm with him running about dozens of people around busy streets. This just got my thinking and remembering. My momma would have had a frenzy... although I could bike around my neighbourhood and know when all my neighbours would be home and who they were. I could knock on their door and ask for sugar lol (typical I know...) but true!
I wonder the impacts living and growing up in a town has had on me compared to the effects growing up in the city has had and will have on this little boy.
